I have been wanting to go back to hlt to eat the "kon jin ko teh" so we went on Sunday. It was raining in the morning and just stopped at around 10am so we reached there around 10.30am ish. A smooth drive as there were not many cars on the road. The duration from the moment we took the parking ticket to go in to the car park (RM2 per entry) to the moment we paid at the parking machine is only about 1 hour and 5 mins - hahaha it seemed that we ate very quickly but in reality we just ate at our leisure and was very full. Parked at the level after the restaurant level and there were only a few cars there so we were quite on our toes. Walked to the restaurant level via the car ramp instead of taking the elevator or steps. Then took the normal staircase to the upper level before exiting to the car park. Did not take the fire exit staircase. Was very full. Bill came up to 55.40 inclusive of service charge and gtax. Takeaway 2 lausarpao and 2 pieces of lobak kuih.
Dinner, we went to ss2 night market to eat abc at stall 41 abc. We have not been there for quite some time so we weren't sure whether or not it is still open for business. Luckily it is and we found a place to park our car quite quickly as a car just vacated the spot and we took it which is just opposite the stall. RM2.5 for a glass and it tasted just as nice as how I remember it to be. As I was still full from the dim sum from brunch, I did not order any food. Just nibble some hor fun off sp's plate which he said is not nice.
So we went to make up for sp's lack of food by going to the hainan tea place for him to have his hainan tea fix. Both Jandmai shared a plate of stirfry ccf RM4 and I just ate a few mouthfuls. Not to my liking. Not much of ccf to be seen, those vegetables are julienned to be too fine for my bite. Sp ate mee pok as well. So this day is basically an eating day. Tomorrow is a public holiday to replace Hari Malaysia which is today.
